Well, um, it's probably a shame, but I never played Castlevania ^^; Well, my boyfriend encouraged me a few times, but he encouraged me to play so many games I never had time (or eagerness) to play... Anyway, I smile upon your enthusiasm :)

I heard about that, but I found Ninja Gaiden to be merciless and worry that Metroid might get the same treatment.

Castlevania is a really great game series, especially Symphony of the Night, which at the time it debued showcased awesome 2D action and one of the greatest video game soundtracks ever. The biggest hurdle to the series was trying to successfully make the games 3D, which seemed harder than it initially appeared. They may have actually gotten it right this time, but I don't want to jinx it.

Wow, that looks amazing! I hope they put in versions of the classic Castlevania monsters. I love the original NES Castlevania and Castlevania 3 with the three other characters you can play as.
