Dear Hearts and Gentle People

Sun Feb 15, 2009, 10:51 PM
Hey everybody! I think I'll once again be able to post again soon! I'm getting a new computer, scanner and possibly a tablet in a few weeks.
In other news, I am now attending the 75th greatest college in the US! I transfered to the university with few hiccups, save for the lack of a bed or a couch. I'm in my fifth week and am adapting to life on the campus relatively well. My apartment is nice and the futon I'm sleeping on will be replaced soon. The art course I took are enjoyable and the rest of the curriculum is bearable, so I'm going to try to make the dean's list. I can't wait to post some of my more recent pics in the near future. Hopefully, the lessons show some improvement my technique!
I also got a copy of Fallout 3 and am incredibly addicted to it, I had a wisdom tooth removed, and bought a copy of Watchmen and Changeling the Lost.

Why, thank you, dearest Phoenix! Phase one is already complete. I have the computer, now all I need is the scanner and a better graphics card and I'm ready to rock again. Huzzah!

Rock on, my friend! I've just gotten a new computer, myself, but my printer is just plain ded. Hopefully for my birthday (June), I'll get a new one, but until then...

The demon of anti-tech strikes again! I assume there will be a flood of images when you can post again? I still have to decide what type of scanner I want. Everyone I know says to avoid Lemark. Any suggestions?

In fact, I used to refill printer cartridges, so I do have recommendations. Whatever you do, don't do Lexmark or Dell. Go for an HP that takes the 74/75 cartridges or a Canon that takes 4 or 6 cartridges.
And yes, there'll definitely be a slew of pictures going up come June! Our campaigns have been horrifying and epic of late (I met the Emissary, who was actually a deathlord, and also my Lunar Path's former incarnation. The Fair Folk have invaded from the East and have turned everywhere up to Great Forks into what we call the Thousandfold Freehold. My Dawn Jekka has conquered Chiaroscuro and become the Ka-Khan, killing only Ahlat, God of War, and Rabzolga, God of Slavery, in the process. Great God-King Danath Mavius died around Arjuf fighting a Realm legion. And Zyden, my beloved Fire Aspect, has started a new campaign, dragging his best friend Thegora out West to find out the truth about Anathema and be generally awesome.), so I have a lot of inspiration!

I managed to get an HP Deskjet All in one. It will have to do for now, because I'm really just interested in scanning more than printing. Later that may change.
I miss the epic lifestyle of Exalted so much! I've been cold turkey for two months now and the shaking hasn't stopped. The last adventure had us preventing the resurrection of Juggernaugt all while helping refugees, avoiding Dynastic splinter groups, doing battle with Three Abyssals who raided the Mask's prized armory, defeating a Lookshy Traitor who sided with yet another Abyssal, The Masks of Winter (a cult searching for the means to return their fallen lord) all while trying to find a way to "heal" Thorns.

We also killed the Mask of Winters...

I know @_@. It seems both our groups like to reshape Creation, rather than stay in the shadows.
